The water cycle is a pretty cool thing, and it is very easy to understand, so first it rains on the ground then the sun evaporates the water, and if you don't know what evaporation is, well it is when it is so hot a liquid turns into steam, and once the water evaporates it goes back into the air and forms a cloud which is just a whole lot of the evaporated water in the air. If there isn’t any water from clouds to evaporate it will also evaporate the water from rivers, lakes, the ocean but then since it rains again it's just an infinite loop.
Also, did you know that the water you drink today from your sink could have had molecules that dinosaurs drank? So that means that most water is over one million years old, and also did you know that nearly 97% of the world’s water is salty or otherwise undrinkable. Another 2% is locked in ice so that leaves just 1% of water so all people can drink which is very interesting, and so those were facts about water, and here are some more facts about the water cycle.
The water cycle describes the movement of water through the Earth's surface, and underground. Water is always moving from one place to another through the stage of evaporation. Water in the water cycle can exist as a solid, liquid, or gas and that’s is some facts about the water cycle.

Trench warfare is a thing that soldiers used in WW1 and WW2 used to get shelter from gunfire and
explosions and they were also used as their homes because there would be a big dug out rooms
where they would put their beds, food, medkits, and weapons, and other stuff.

Another reason why trench warfare is helpful is that if the enemy team gases the other team they get
enough time to get their gas masks but some times the gas goes too fast killing lots of people and

1918
Today we read a book called 1918 written by Jim Eldridge and it is based on WW1
and in the book, a boy named Tim goes to Manchester to hide from his mother so
he could go fight for his country but he was only 13 so he says he is 18 and in the
book, it says that they were guarding a carriage that had two Admirals and a
normal person who was all German and they were thinking maybe they had
surrendered but they needed their leader to do that so maybe the leader had
committed suicide, but they already had lots of false hope of people saying that
the war was already over and that they had won and the German had surrendered
but that was fake and they still had to fight.

The alien
The alien
An alien comes to earth and lands its ufo on top of a hill next to my house so I go grab my dad's pair of
boniklers run-up to my window and look at the ufo and wait for aliens to leave and once he does I run up

sack over my head and I go around town looking for a lighting rod.

then run behind a bush so after a minute he comes out of his door so I dash up the stairs to get to the
top of the rough grab the lightning rod run back down the stairs and open the door and to my surprise
the man is standing outside the door giving me a furis stair so I grab the tip of the lighting rod and stab

up to the sky and conveniently it raining so I fly to the top of the sky get struck by lighting and I slam that

Once upon a time in a faraway world there was a small drop off of sun that fell into the ocean thus
creating a small golden mer baby and once the mer baby opened his eyes he heard a voice say from
up above ¨hello my child I created you to fulfill people's prophecies but since there are so many different
prophecies I gave you a special tether that only you can see that will bring you to all prophecies so on
you go now, oh and your name is Kapa but people call you the beacon¨. so off Kapa went following the
tether to the closest prophecies until he found a huge big temple with two guards outside. So he swam
past them and into the temple but then one of the guards noticed Kapa´s shiny scales and quickly
grabbed him and brought him into the temple and showed him to their queen and once the queen saw
his shiny scales she showed him this huge rock with their prophecy and the queen said ¨your supposed
to swim up to the top of the roof of our cave and hit this disco ball and it will sprout yellow flowers all
over our home which will grant us the ability of immortality¨. fo Kapa swam to the top of the grave and hit
the weird ball and sprouted flowers all over the cave but they were blue.

Technology Week 1
Yesterday at school we did tech but since tech isn't at Ahipara School we had to hop on the bus and drive to Intermediate School and when we got there we all went to the place where all the tech things are (I don't know what the the tech room is called. Then my group went to wood works, also there are four rooms in the school about tech. The first one woodworks, second baking technology, weaving and ICT,and I did woodworks. At woodworks we learnt how to scroll and we also did some painting and that's basically all.
